Safire Armatrading, founder of Yugen Studio

I've spent the last ten years working in hospitality and wellbeing. Behind bars and tables in restaurants, giving massages and treatments, dancing on stages. Right now, alongside running this studio, I still work in a restaurant and I create content for a small nail and beauty academy here in Manchester.

I'm telling you this because it's the whole point of Yugen Studio. I'm not a marketing agency that read a book about your industry. I know what it feels like when a Saturday service goes sideways, when a client asks for a treatment you weren't expecting, when the rush comes in and nobody has time to remember to post a story. I've lived what your customer-facing business looks like from the inside.

How does the free audit work?+

You book a free 30-minute discovery call. After that, I review your Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile and send you a written audit covering what's working, what isn't, and where I see the biggest opportunities for your business. If you decide to work with me, your first month is 50% off. If you don't, the audit is yours to keep.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?+

There are no long-term contracts. You're billed month to month and you can pause or cancel any time with 30 days' notice. I'd rather you stay because the work is good, not because you're stuck.

How long until I see results?+

Honest answer: social media is a slow burn. You'll see your content look more consistent in the first month, more engagement in months 2 to 3, and meaningful audience growth and bookings around months 3 to 6. Anyone promising overnight results isn't being straight with you.

Do I own the content you create for me?+

Yes, completely. Every graphic, caption, video and asset I create for your business is yours to keep and use however you'd like, both during our work together and after.

Can you come and visit my business in person?+

Absolutely. I'm based in Stretford and I'm happy to visit anywhere around Greater Manchester to meet you, get to know the space, and take photos or short videos if useful. For clients further afield, we do everything by video call.

How do I give you access to my accounts safely?+

You'll never need to share your personal passwords with me. I'll ask to be added as a manager or partner through Meta Business Manager and Google Business Profile, which is the proper, secure way to give an agency access. I'll walk you through it step by step on your first day.

What kinds of businesses do you usually work with?+

Mostly hospitality (restaurants, cafés, small bars) and wellbeing or beauty businesses (salons, therapy studios, beauty academies, yoga and pilates studios). Those are the rooms I've lived in for the last decade, so that's where I can add the most value. If you're outside those worlds we can still chat and see if it's a fit.
